Have you ever tried walking barefoot on a soft spongy moss carpet? In a small sheltered basin a special peat bog came to life where the layers of peat moss are constantly gurgling of the uprush of post volcanic gases (mostly CO2). The vegetation is far off from the local climate showing species from the taiga area and Ice Age relicts as the insectivore Sundew flower. The place is a must for nature lovers.
